After years of legal tie ups, fall outs and obstacles, Lil Wayne submerges from the rubble victorious, giving us another classic album with “Tha Carter V”

There’s quite an assortment of supporting cast as we are treated to features from XXXTENTACION, Travis Scott, Nicki Minaj, Kendrick Lamar, Sosamann, Reginae Carter, Snoop Dogg, Ashanti, Mack Maine and Nivea. Twenty-three tracks that shatter genre definitions and Wayne’s top notch metaphors. It’s too soon to judge the album just yet but from one full play in, there’s a ton of content to digest. Aside from that, there shouldn’t be too much naysay about whether or not Wayne can still turn out quality hits.
