Chamillionaire Starts The Robin’s Heart Foundation To Assist With Harvey Recovery

As efforts ramp up to help get Texas get back on its feet in the wake of Harvey’s historical damage, Houston native Chamillionaire continues to do his part. After several days of relief work including driving water and supplies to some of our hardest-hit areas like Beaumont, Orange, and Port Arthur and seeing not only the devastation but in many cases, the complete lack of basic needs, Cham felt the call to do more. This was the inspiration behind the Robin’s Heart Foundation, Chamillionaire’s newly formed 501©3 charity, for monetary donations. Chamillionaire is making such a difference to all of these people who have been hit by the impact of this hurricane. So many homes were destroyed and so many people have lost things that they love. Luckily, a lot of people are doing their part to help these victims get their lives back to normal. This charity hopes to see those hardest-hit back in homes eventually. When these people do get back inside their homes, it’s being advised that they look into getting home insurance as a priority. This would give them compensation, allowing them to access some financial support from the insurance company if a natural disaster ever happened again. Perhaps this article can encourage some people to get home insurance. No one wants to be left in a situation like this, but it could happen to anyone.

Just like so many other people out there, I don’t want to sit on the sidelines, I want to do the most that I can to help.” He says on the front page of his website. “I will be investing a lot of my own personal time and money to help, but there are so many people impacted by the flooding that I can’t help feeling like I need to try my best to do more.” He added. “I’m sure there are plenty of other campaigns that will do great things for the people who have been impacted by Hurricane Harvey, but I want to focus on a lot of the families and areas that I feel have been extremely overlooked.”

As a show of good faith, Chamillionaire has donated the first $25,000 and he promises that every single penny of the money raised will go towards helping those in need with zero administrative fees.

Those that prefer to donate goods can ship or take them directly to Gallery Furniture (6006 North Freeway, Houston, TX 77076) and Mattress Mack and his team, with whom Chamillionaire announced a partnership today, will happily be sure they are distributed where they are needed most.
