In the wake of the grand jury decision to not indict Darren Wilson for the murder of Mike Brown the whole world is united against the police. Police killings of youth of color are fanning the flames of revolution and moderate forces are unable to keep the so called “peace.” Unprecedented civil disobedience has been shutting shit down all over the country and we once again find ourselves in revolutionary times. Much of the post-Ferguson conversation has been about body cameras, de-militarization and punishing a few “bad apples,” but this song calls into question the very existence of police.
