Breaking news reports surfacing online and on television claim the man seen in the ISIS execution video of reporter James Foley is none other than British rapper Abdel Majed Abdel Bary bka L Jinny. Here’s a news report detailing the story.

Bary is a native of the Maida Vale neighborhood of West London who lived in a $2 million home and whose father is suspected of being a right-hand man to Osama Bin Laden. It is also reported that Bary is better known among the ISIS group as “John” and is thought to be one of three British militants dubbed “The Beatles”, who are guarding hostages near Raqqa, Syria. He has left a macabre trail on social media as well.
