When I sat down at chopped it with Emilio Rojas for an interview we talked about his upcoming mixtape and I was super excited and couldn’t wait until it dropped. Well On May 27th it came out and I was going to instantly post it but I decided to wait and listen to “Zero Fucks Giving” over and over again to really let everything really marinate in my head. I’m glad I did that because this mixtape showcases everything I love about Hip Hop in all 11 tracks. Top to bottom this mixtape brings everything from great production (producers on the project !llmind, K.E. On The Track, Audio Jones, and more) to sick lyrics (features include N.O.R.E., Joe Budden, Bodega Bamz, Gene Noble and DUBB) that tell incredible stories. To me this is the best project I have heard thus far in 2014. Hands down Emilio Rojas will keep your head nodding throughout the entire mixtape to the point where you can listen to it 4 times and it still feels like you’re listening to it for the first time. It honestly reminds me of the “Black Album” now I’m not saying he is better than Jay but the mixtape gives me the same feeling.
