Altadena, California hip hop legend Che Skizza debuts his lead off single and video for the insanely dope track “Easy” from the upcoming Che Skizza/ JCA Beats Productions project featuring the infamous DJ BB Famous on the 1’s & 2’s. In the video, directed by Hoody Alan Productions, we’re taken on a journey into the realm of true hip hop. From the simplistic usage of shooting in black & white to footage of Famous cutting on the tables to Che reppin’ with his crew, the video captures hip hop in its purest form. All throughout the track, Skizza spits nothing but straight service that would make even the most established rappers of today shiver in their skinny jeans.
Here’s Skizza’s take on the song:
“With the fire production from JCA Beats, this song was “Easy” to compose. I’m not one to make up some deep faux philosophical meaning, sometimes the music speaks for itself. In the case of “Easy”, it’s basically Service; me serving the mic and serving wack MC’s, which is something that to me comes quite “Easy”. There’s too much soft music, dance music, trap music and not enough Hard Rhyming…and I aim to rectify that.”
