Kiev may not be well known in the hip hop stratosphere just yet but his undeniable talent has the potential to bring his name closer to the forefront. His latest project, “Priority”, is a 6 track epic, with catchy hooks, aggressive flows, intelligent introspection and a host of solid production.

The intro, “Can You Tell Me”, is a chilling internal questioning of societies greatest ills. There is pain in Kiev’s voice as he spills his feelings about specific circumstances that plague the world at large. While “Can You Tell Me” is the most somber track on “Priority”, that reflectiveness permeates in the remaining 5 songs. Kiev rhymes about his unparalleled commitment to music, shows us his fluid flow, and brings a remarkable catchiness to more upbeat tracks like “Ballin’” and “That Work”.
