In a world full of fakes, fools and wannabes, a true emcee resurfaces to shed light on lost minds. His name is Versatile E and he’s come to deliver “The Rude Awakening” that the music world has been missing for years. Although it’s a brand new release, the song itself sounds as though it came from out of the nineties. That’s because Versatile delivers lyricism full of knowledge and life lessons. This is all layered over a slick, piano / choir ensemble sure to make heads nod from side to side. Now, armed with an engineering degree and a knack for crafting solid Hip Hop cuts, there’s no looking back as the Albanian word-smith plans on continuing to release new music rolling into his album release.
“The Rude Awakening” also follows up the Kosova / London native’s 2017 debut single, “All Around You”, both of which are Hip Hop hard bodies. Over an explosive electric guitar and rock heavy drums, E talks his sh*t while backing it up ten fold with words like, “I don’t write as much as I should / I should write more coz they say that I’m good, and I believe ’em / but one minute I’m wit’ it the next I’m leaving / all this disagreement on how we define achievement.”
