What happens when a fast rising emcee teams together with an extraterrestrial vocalist and a visual avant garde, all from Wisconsin? You get Mozaic, Zed Kenzo and Alex Belville in the extremely electrifying “imitation diamonds”. Having premiered Mozaic‘s “1999” video last September [link] , we were once again extremely pleased with his latest visual installment.
Produced by Eclipse, the beatsmith constructs a megalith instrumental that teeters on the breaking edge of insanity and sheer genius. It’s the perfect foundation for Mozaic to fully express his creativity over. Together with the out of this dimension vocals of Zed Kenzo, the deadly duo offer up truth among the land of the lost, hoping to open their minds.
Director Alex Bellville does an absolutely fascinating job of expressing the tone of the overall song. Also known as Alexander Jay, both Mozaic and himself stared in Jay’s self-directed video “Redemption” [link]. For those of you that have already seen that, you know these two make a great team. Only this time, Bellville works behind the camera offering up a post-apocalyptic wasteland that follows the crew thru a forest setting that at times seems like a potent acid trip.
The Wisconsin trifecta really puts forth an awesome video, definitely GYBU approved. Here is Mozaic and Zed Kenzo in “imitation diamonds”.
