Devin “Gatsby” James and JCA Beats Productions present the latest addition to their ongoing pin up series, the electric “Calendar Girls”. With the notoriety the previous videos have been garnering, film director Kathleen Ryan contacted the guys to discuss the possibility of getting them involved with scoring a certain segment of her new film, “Pin Up! The Movie”, which eventually lead up to a full blown song for the film. Then, Kathleen decided to take things a step forward and produced a visual for the single using clips of the film.

Speaking of which, the movie has a Kickstarter campaign in effect and is seeking funding for it’s music licensing and for other aspects pertaining to it. The goal is getting close and has a deadline set for November 13th. Check it out, there are alot of great pledge packages available including copies of the DVD when released, signed posters, red carpet film fest screenings and a pin up modeling package.

“Calendar Girls” is the epitome of what the trio has been crafting within the series these past couple years. Devin has found his rhythm and focus for writing and performing these types of tracks while JCA Beats has become agile while stepping outside of their comfort zones to mesh their Hip Hop sound into other genres, creating what they are dubbing, “Swing Hop”. They provide a radio friendly sound that’s not only appealing to various generations but also manages to keep a level of sexiness to itself in the process. Make sure to check out the video below and help support Pin Up! The Movie by becoming a Kickstarter backer by November 13th.
