Chicago’s Treated Crew member A.K. has “Something To Prove” alongside Hip Hop producer The Audible Doctor on a solid, five track EP release. Combining talents & force, the Illinois emcee sheds hope for Hip Hop in a city mostly known for it’s graphic violence and Drill music. While touching on personal woes & the current state of affairs, A.K. is able to give a lyrical perception on life in general and the production selections from Audible Doctor are next to none. Grimy, soulful Boom Bap on the rocks is the best way to describe the soundscape for “Something To Prove”. All five songs stand out on their own and are a great addition to any Hip Hop head out there.
