North Carolina’s Zane Alexander debuts his brand new, seven track EP entitled “Happy Birthday” today and it’s full of music to sooth the soul. Zane states that he made the album so that it can be played on shuffle and still get the message across or just be played at a chill event and let me say, it’s very moving to say the least. Here’s what Zane had to say about “Happy Birthday”.
“For me, it’s about an introvert that is coaxed to go out into the world for his birthday and experiences the fun of the world followed by the atrocities that aren’t often noted when one says “go out and experience the world”. He goes out and gets a bit reckless and thats when the album makes a turn and he sees the world for what it is. A parallel story could also be a guy who goes out and loses focus of his purpose in life during all the partying and fun times and later comes to his senses around the end.”
This is a scenario that alot of listeners will easily be able to relate to and form their own adaption of their life thru the music. The production is all handled by Zane who offers a buffet of genres molded into one, “Happy Birthday”.
