Milwaukee, WI – Amerikas Addiction is keeping their new music rolling out on a consistent basis as the journey to their upcoming album 13 forges ahead. Their latest release is coined “Active.” It is jointly produced by AO and Beat Zombie (Kevin Gates/Shy Glizzy).
The two producing parties craft a gutter style instrumental with theatrical musical components and a measured tempo that allows the listener to truly absorb the beat. The hook is simplistic in nature but at the same time is one that is easily remembered and appealing to join in with. David Kelly brings a clean flow as he laces the track with nervy rhymes that paint an audacious picture of how the duo gets down. The record is sure to invigorate the listener or at the very least get them nodding their head. A video for the single is slated to follow within the next couple of weeks. Additionally, the producer line up is equally as promising with names on the bill like: Paul White, DJ Pain 1, Cardo, AO, Beat Zombie, and Taz Taylor. Amerikas Addiction will be seeing a little action behind the boards as well.
Amerikas Addiction is an all-encompassing Hip-Hop duo based out of Milwaukee, WI that consists of members: David Kelly and Joshua “J-The Truth” Scarver. Operating under the motto “Do What You Desire,” the group has released several different projects to date and independently built a strong following of “addicts” worldwide through social networking and grass roots promotion. This has earned them a spot on Billboard’s Next Big Sound rankings. Additionally, they have headlined Summerfest which is one of the nation’s biggest music festivals and they have taken over the UW-Milwaukee campus with an event that was sponsored by Rockstar Energy Drink. Those are some pretty major accomplishments and that’s just for one year alone. Driven by their motto and priding themselves on being real and different, Amerikas Addiction is well on their way to creating a legacy that the indie music world won’t soon forget.
