“Cool for Thought” is the second free collection release from LA hip hop two-some The League. A short 8 track mixtape of strictly borrowed beats, a concept also known as “beat jacking,” #C4T is a quick look into the progress these two have made as budding artists. While preparing their second full-length album, the duo gives fans this 30-minute audio presentation which boasts only two features from Ari Noelle, a local LA songstress, and Producer/Artist Willie B. of TDE & Digi+Phonics. With an array of beats originally popularized by artists like Kanye West, Jhene Aiko, Stalley, Donald Glover and more, THE LEAGUE employs different elements that serve to create a unique sound out of completely recycled music.
