Jason “J Hatch” Hadshian, former owner of the national urban artist showcase tour “Get Your Buzz Up,” steps down and hands company to former VP ShaH “Mr. Get Your Buzz Up” Evans.

For years, the “Get Your Buzz Up (GYBU)” showcase has traveled the country, providing urban artists in major and small markets with opportunities to network with music industry judges, showcase their talents, and win valuable prizes including promotion, meetings with record label personnel and items and services. GYBU enlisted judges ranging from Grammy Award winning producer Rockwilder to VP of A&R at Def Jam Records Lenny S.

After years of building GYBU into a highly respected brand– the standard, in fact, in urban music showcases– Hadshian has decided to place the responsibility of carrying the brand’s torch to Evans. Hadshian cites Evan’s service as VP, his energy and vision as major influences of his decision.

Evans, a promoter, blogger and artist manager, plans to continue GYBU’s tradition of providing artists with promotional channels, facilitating networks between independent urban artists and music industry professionals and expanding the brand to include newer services to respond to the ever changing new music industry.
