Chi-Ali is a Bronx legend to hip hop. From rippin thru B-sides with the legendary De La Soul to holding his own on Black Sheep’s debut release, “A Wolf in Sheep’s Clothing”, Chi was on his way. Ali even released his own solo album titled, “The Fabulous Chi-Ali”, back in 1992. The album included, “Age Ain’t Nothing But a #”, which was a hit for the Bronx native. Chi had a budding music career ahead of him until an unfortunate event that lead to his incarceration.
Fast forward: After serving a 12 year bid, Chi-Ali was released in 2012 and wasted no time heading back into the studio to make up for lost time. This brings us to his latest outing called, “I’m Different”, which is the 2 Chainz Remix. On the cut, Ali touches on his realness, present life style and how he gets down. Chi states he don’t owe nobody shit but parole, BELIEVE THAT. Glad to hear new music from dude and I’m looking forward to a mixtape or album.
