What do you get when you add the Philadelphia Suburbs, a hardworking individual, and and incredible emcee? Well the answer is MICrophone Tone. With the help of P-Funk, Tone has recorded 12 songs at the Bat Cave. In 2009, Tone was introduced to Samori Coles of Lil’ Drummaboy
Recordings on South Street. So far he has recorded 5 songs at Lil’ Drummaboy with Samori and is currently working on his album which is
scheduled for a release at the end of 2009. Every song on the album will be produced by Nachural, a producer from Philly and friend of Tone’s who he has been working with for the past two years.
MICrophone Tone has had the opportunity to perform shows locally in
Philadelphia and the outer suburbs. Some venues that he has performed
at are: The Trocadero in Philadelphia, The Crock Rock in Allentown,
Club Fluid in Philadelphia, 3rd & Walnut in Lansdale, and the Skippack
Festival.
