Amerikas Addiction is getting ready to embark on their second single promo & contest venture. This time around they are running it in conjunction with a release off of their forthcoming project 13. 13 will see the duo working with some of today’s leading names in the world of production including: Paul White, DJ Pain 1, Cardo, AO, and Taz Taylor. Amerikas Addiction will be adding their own flavor to the mix as well.
The track they selected for the new campaign is dubbed “No $leep” and it was produced by Epik The Dawn. Epik is a West Coast talent who has garnered placements with: Chris Brown, T-Pain, MTV, VH1, and more. He supplied Amerikas Addiction with a gritty hood sound that is accented by sleek urban musical elements, a persuasive rhythm, and a vibe that fits the popular Trill club style that is currently dominating the mainstream airwaves. When that is factored in with the impressionable hook and the trendy low key cocksure verses pertaining to a lifestyle that leaves no room for taking it easy; there is no question that this record has all the makings of a chart topping hit. But it won’t just be dominating the airwaves. The fellas joined forces with Michael Alston to create an Atlanta based video for the record too.
The “No $leep Contest” challenges enterprising artists to bring their best 16 bars to the table by creating an original verse to the single’s instrumental.
