Goonew

DMV rapper Goonew teams with producer Sparkheem for the street heavy, “Bricks”

23-year-old rapper Goonew is a Maryland-born lyricist who has reached national acclaim thanks to collaborations with artists like Lil Yachty, Lil Dude, and Hoodrich Pablo Juan. His trademark phrase, “Hey Auntie,” was used in Marvel’s Black Panther movie.

Goonew is back in the trap, and active, in his latest release “Bricks.” Produced by Sparkheem, the track finds the rapper explaining the extent of drugs that surround him in his typical, hyper detailed style of rap. Over the booming instrumental, Goonew’s signature whisper has never sounded more authentic and inviting.
