Enter the “Mind” of Toronto standout YSF in his latest, Shamsi directed video – @ysfmanifest

Canada’s YSF impresses heavily with his first single of 2018, “Mind”. Directed by Shamsi, the video is set to play like a short film. It tells the tale of two friends as the grow up in a tough area of Toronto. One is a recording artist while the other, a drug dealer. The fast life can only last so long and “Mind” is an eye opening example of that.

The Canadian artist, YSF, emerged in the independent music scene in 2016 and was quick to establish him as a performer who is unafraid to make a personal statement with his music. Born in Toronto, Canada – he fell in love with music at a young age. Inspired his diverse community, 50 Cent, and Jimmy Hendrix, the Canadian native learned how to play the guitar and write music.

Soon after the release of his debut mixtape in 2016, he decided to drop out of his first year at York University and pursue a career in music full time. As of today, YSF has organically accumulated over 500,000 total plays on Soundcloud and over 112,000 total views on YouTube. Currently, the Toronto native is working on his debut album called, “The Manifest”.
