Harlem’s Semi The Gawd transforms into a rap gladiator on the 15 track project, “When In Rome” – @ThaRealSemi

After lighting up the press on fire with some of his known cyphers thanks in part to cosigns from Sway from Sway In the Morning and B. Dot from Rap Radar Podcast – Harlem emcee Semi the Gawd comes full circle with his first project of 2018; When In Rome. “Sometimes you gotta stand with the soldiers even if you don’t agree with the war”, a line that Semi sums up the direction of the latest project. This 15-track project is filled with reflection of self & a look at the surrounding environment from the perspective of a young Black male pursuing his dreams while trying to keep his hands clean. The title is based off of the popular saying “when in Rome, do as the Romans do”. Check out the album below.
