Finding love, losing love and figuring out how to deal with it, sums up the latest Brownboi Maj project, “Friend$”. “The album is a love story. It’s my most vulnerable project to date. It evokes emotion and it shows that I’m not afraid to show that emotion in my music. It’s a side of me that my fans haven’t seen. It’s not an album, it’s a vibe,” says the artist. Not only does “Friend$” feature a side to Maj that we haven’t seen, it also showcases his vocal abilities. Maj concludes the Friend’s album with two ballads Wait and Need.

Brownboi Maj’s love story might be a narrative that describes the story of two people falling in and out of love but he had some help from, you guessed it, his friends. He and JusXJustice team up again on the tracks Alone and Traphouse, which also offers a feature from Sincerely Collins.Truvonne, makes an appearance on the ballad Wait. And for fan’s who are anticipating Brownboi Maj’s signature slush music sound, he doesn’t disappoint with Fame featuring Angelo Nano, Love Me Back featuring Ar-Jay, E-Batt lends a verse on Want You and Kobe featuring UPRHND Leel.
