wo factions of Hip Hop that are often under the microscope are Southern lyricism and female emcees. Thankfully, Porter is the best of both and shines on “Precrafted”. Porter represents South Carolina but her new effort is Hip Hop through and through, no bubblegum, sing-songy records in sight. New York veteran and one of the biggest bully emcees to touch a mic, Hell Rell, hosts and appears on a few joints throughout the mixtape but Porter definitely carves out a lane of her own as the tape progresses. We hear struggle, grind, failures and success and by time you are done, you will want to hear more. Check out “Precrafted” below.
