Eighteen year old Hoody calls Cache Valley, Utah home and the Urban Theory collective his family. His latest release, the lo-fi sounding “Gutter Gators”, carries a guest appearance from UT member, Sensei Versace. The self-produced track includes themes of progression, as well as promoting abstract forms of thought. Sensei kicks things off and spins a vocal effect over his verse, giving it a very old school feel. Hoody comes in like a Tyler The Creator, with his syllable twisting delivery. It’s good to hear some vintage-based Hip Hop, especially coming out of Utah. Listen below.
