If you heard about Lil’ Weezyana Fest going on in New Orleans last weekend, you already know that the Hot Boys reunited on stage. But what you may not know is that Chicago’s Ace B8gie was there paying homage to the Cash Money culture in more ways than one.
Ace has been a fan of the Hot Boys since their glory days, and started rapping at age 8 because of them. Nearly 20 years later, his creative progression is nothing short of admirable. In preparation for his milestone EP The Hot Boy B8gie Project, Ace visited New Orleans to shoot, record and celebrate Southern music. There, he linked up in the studio with TY of Jet Life — or you may know him as Hot Boy B.G.’s son.
Ace hopped on an original Juvenile instrumental to lay down a freestyle just for the occasion. Check out Ace B8gie’s “Truly Fxckin’ Right” Freestyle and heat things up. The Hot Boy B8gie Project drops this October.
