(New Audio)-@ACEB8gieFOC Shinin

unnamed

Ace B8gie’s name popped up in the music scene when he allegedly caught flack for using Beyonce’s 7/11 beat last year. Turns out the two share producers, Bobby Johnson, who produced the visually-aided smash hit. And Ace actually had the beat first! (so it’s not just a clever name). Through the woes of leasing and buying, Beyonce and Ace both ended up with songs to the same beat, skyrocketing Ace B8gie’s popularity and buzz.

The tables have now turned, the hype has died down and Ace is ready for the world to hear more of his own creativity. And there’s no better way to showcase it than with his forthcoming “The Hot Boy B8gie Project”. Inspired by the notorious Hot Boyz (the first rap group to spark something inside Ace at the age of 8), the EP is dynamic in that it will feature Ace himself from two separate decades. Not many rappers can say they have recorded works of themselves from age 8 — but Ace can. In his latest single “Shinin’”, the visionary emcee incorporates his own vocals from Christmas Day of 1999.

Ace B8gie’s sounds are sure to kickstart a new way of thinking when it comes to Chicago music. An artistic young soul who is determined to not be a product of his environment, Ace sets out to prove to dreamers that goals that seem beyond your reach are actually not that far. While the Hot Boy B8gie Project will pay homage to the Hot Boyz, it also marks a milestone of transition and personal growth within Ace — an epiphany that real and truth will always win over shade and senselessness. Check out how Ace B8gie is “Shinin'”.
