New music from Chicago’s Emcee Fare titled “Marvin Gaye”. Here’s what Fare had to say about the track.

I have really ran into a huge road block for months with the process of my third album with my current label, or should I say, the last one being with the label. The word change had been tossed around from every direction possible. Being an artist to me means doing something your truly love. Steps have to be taken at times to advance in the business but the thought of me having to completely change everything I do is something I can’t agree with. It gives me this sense of disappointment towards myself. Towards my art. So when I wrote this song and my other single, “Smoke Sumn”, I found the direction I could take this album which is still having my thoughts, opinions, feelings, and stories, but still able to adapt to everything that’s being played now. So in this song personally express the changes I had to endeavor throughout these past months and what everyone will be expecting from me. Like Marvin Gaye once said, “great artists suffer for the people”.
