What’s up Thirdson? For those new to the name, who are you and what do you do?

Yo! As an artist, i rap, sing and produce. I make music that contains a lot of emotions. I’m a spiritual being with no religion following my purpose in life. I love to inspire people to feel, relate and change to be a better person than what they were.

How did you get the name ‘Thirdson’? And whats the meaning behind it?

Im the third son and the youngest in my family, and i had that name ever since i started, 8 years ago. The name have a subliminal message which is recognized by few.

You recently made a move from Sweden to NYC, what was the hip hop climate like over there and what made you decide to make such a drastic change?

The music industry in Sweden doesn’t have the same knowledge as in America about Hiphop. This is where i have to be because i want to make it big. I had to let go of everything and make some sacrifices to follow my purpose, i just listen to my intuition. This is what i live for.

What has been the biggest difference in culture change you have experienced?

I actually don’t live by culture, i just adapt to everything that is happening around me.

In music, who are some of your influences?

The inspiration i find is from within, feelings and thoughts that paints a picture in my mind.
Different situations in life creates the influences for me.
So i believe the answer is myself and life itself.

What current projects are you pushing?

I just released my new video on Youtube, which is called “Gone”.
Im currently working on making new tracks with different producers here in NY.
