Starting today, don’t be shocked if you log onto Twitter and confuse it with your Facebook account. Twitter has redesigned it’s page look to be more user friendly with a stronger emphasize on photos and now you can choose your own custom picture header, which is similar to Facebook’s cover photo. Twitter also wants you to show off your best tweets with a feature to be able to pin one of your tweets to the top of your profile. Your tweets with the most retweets and favorites will also appear larger on your profile, making them easier to locate. Another note is you’ll be able to filter friend’s timelines by tweets, tweets and replies or tweets with photos and videos. The change has taken affect on recently created Twitter accounts and for more well known people such as Michelle Obama, Zac Efron, Kerry Washington, Channing Tatum and others. Over the next few weeks, the redesign will be carried out on all other Twitter accounts.
