Sacramento, California up-n-comer Julian Write links up with director Anthony Kimata to bring you the visuals to his deep “Down & Down” record. This is taken from his recent Ep “Underwhelmed” and the track was produced by Nick Rio.

Here’s what Julian had to say about the song/video:

This video is dedicated to my late Uncle Jo who I lost to suicide when I was 10 years old. He suffered from depression due to many things in his life, 1 of them being an unhealthy relationship. I used this song and video to loosely portray the story he once lived. This video was not made to stereotype women who dance, nor was it made to paint them in a bad light. I’ve personally met or know plenty of people that are friends with women that dance and are great people and very happy with their lives/relationships. This is just what was used to paint the story for this particular record.
