“This album is the heartbeat to my life, as it will give you a sense of closeness to me. Being able to understand who I am through this album is easy. If you listen closely you will be able to identify me as a person and not just a name.

This is my first album ever so I put all that I have into it. I called it ‘Dance Floor Secrets’ because of the inspiration I got from my grandma who passed 5 years back as she could dance to any song I was playing. It didn’t matter whether it was hip-hop, house, electro, she danced to every song. Getting that from her I was able to create this album which has different sounds and different genres put in one album with a bit of my taste too. Every person should be able to identify his taste or favorite song somewhere in this album, and there should be something for everyone here.

So ‘Dance Floor Secrets’ referring to the secrets people never express about the dance floor; That people can dance to any song, any genre, any time. As long as it’s nice and they can move to it, they will. Music isn’t about color, religion, or any of that it’s all about feeling what you are feeling for that particular song at that moment. Each and every song in this album describes a moment on the dance floor which you could experience, how recent music you are listening to affects you, and the place you are at in life at that moment.” – Eazy Makgobatlou
