(New Audio)-@TheRealSpaceLAB “Think Twice (Smutella)”

NYC-based independent label SpaceLAB Recordings brings you their latest music offering: a grimy, rowdy, previously-unreleased posse song entitled “Think Twice (Smutella)”. The dusty, vinyl-based track is produced by label founder Jake Palumbo, & features rhymes from nearly all of the members of the roster – Jake Palumbo, C-Zar Van Gogh, Ciphurphace & Gotham Heights (emcee/comedian/blogger. Ollie OX was in San Francisco at the time & therefore unable to appear on the record).

As is usually expected with SpaceLAB, the track features a diverse variety of emceeing styles, a 90’s-inspired shout-along chorus & lyrical references to everything from terrorism, the Crack Era, chess champion Bobby Fischer, NASCAR, & favorite characters from the A-Team.

Coming off a string of 5 headlining shows at NYC’s famed concert hall the Knitting Factory, & with C-Zar Van Gogh’s sophomore LP This Time Next Year coming in a few short weeks, SpaceLAB Recordings decided to drop a leak for its dedicated fan-base as a way of saying “Thank You” for a very successful 2012, & as a teaser of the upcoming 2013 compilation LP, Space Camp II – the sequel to the crew’s breakout group album.
