The song “Wheels Fall Off” is the first single off my mixtape “The Token Black Guy.” The concept started as i was going through some rough times mentally and financially and basically was on the verge of quitting music/poetry altogether. I was watching a Martin Lawrence stand up and he talked about riding this mutha fucka until the wheels fall off and no one is holding you back but yourself. That stuck to me and inspired the chorus as i felt the bars and lyrics would come naturally and i always speak and write what i feel at the time, one being the lack of substance in SOME artists music.
