Audio Runner is an electronic music production team from Austin, Texas. Our goal is to release one song a month, every month and give it away free to our fans. We use the music as a tool to market ourself to new fans … then make money when they buy our merchandise. We utilize social media marketing in order to get our word out. Because of this, we will always own 100% of our music and never need a record deal. At least a record deal that we aren’t completely happy with …we will NEVER settle.
When did you start to develop your artistry?
We all play instruments and have since childhood. Gerritt and Andy made names for themselves in the underground hip hop community. Brad has played guitar in many bands. Ryan is a long time, well known DJ in the Houston electronic music scene. Like most artist … we’ve been developing our artistry for as long as we can remember.
Who are some of your musical influences?
We have countless musical influences. This keeps our music well rounded. It’s hard to say who has influenced us the most ,but here are a few people we listen to: Deadmau5, Atmosphere, Genesis, Crystal Method, Guru, Coldplay, Doctor Octagon, Radiohead, Wu, Daft Punk … most indie music and electronic music.
What current projects are you working on?
We are ALWAYS working on something new. Right now are are putting the finishing touches on a few songs, sending out beats to a the hip hop artist we do production for and gearing up for an appearance on a social media panel for the Musicians Institute in Los Angeles.
How are you planning to ‘Get Your Buzz Up’?
By doing an interview with getyourbuzzup.com! In all seriousness we strive to create a buzz on a daily basis. Through social media interactions, we make sure that SOMEBODY is talking about Audio Runner every single day. So far, we’re done a pretty good job of that. Our fan base on Facebook grows by a few hundred every week and merchandise sales have doubled since February.Where can we find you online?
In order to find us online all you have to do is google the name “Audio Runner”. You will find the first 3 pages (maybe more) all about us and our movement. Here are some direct links for those of you too lazy to Google something.
