California rap veteran, Crooked I gets a guest verse from one of hip hop’s brightest young stars, Snow Tha Product on his new single “Not For The Weak Minded”.  Originally found on “SXEW volume 2” the tag free version is now available.  

Fresh off the third installment of their “Mixtape Monthly” series the Horseshoe Gang releases “We Them Muthafuck@s”. Maintaining the hardcore, super lyrical, west coast rap that their reputations as built on, the Horseshoe Gang continues to push the envelope.

West Coast rap group the Horseshoe Gang drops “Silent Killa” the single serves as promo for their DJ Far hosted “Monthly Mixtape” series. The Crooked I signees plan to release a mixtape every month. The single finds intricate bars laced over an eerie backdrop to set the scene for “Silent Killas”.

Long Beach veteran emcee Crooked I drops his new single “Beautiful Murder”. Going the solo route the Slaughterhouse rapper laces intricately layered bars over an instrumental from King Dave.

The Slaughterhouse crew drops by the BET Hip Hop Awards for their chance to spit flames in the cypher. Joell Ortiz, Royce Da 5’9″, Joe Budden, and Crooked I all take turns going in.

What do you get when you take one quarter of arguably the most lyrical rap super crew in history (Slaughterhouse) and send him on a solo mission? You get Crooked I’s “Apex Predator”. Ominous production and superb lyricism are found everywhere on the release. Crooked is no rookie in the rap game having been signed to the infamous Death Row …

Slaughterhouse murda’s this Araab Muzik track. Hammer Dance takes you back to that hood music but because of the way they can flip things lyrically they track just makes you go…ugh. Slaughterhouse will be dropping a new album in May titled “WELCOME TO: OUR HOUSE.” This will coincide with their North American Tour that they will starting March 3rd.
