Drew James is in the “Kitchen” with soda and a Jay-Z sample – @drewjamesRR

Toronto rapper/producer and Ruff Ryders affiliate Drew James is back with his newest, self-produced single, “Kitchen”. The bassline is heavy in this Reggae and Hip Hop infused beat. It’s also laced with an insanely chopped Jay-Z vocal for a hook over the Sizzla sample. Drew James comfortably provides a proper dose of bars throughout the two verses oozing nothing but finesse. Throughout the record, Drew paints a picture of the street life from the hustler’s point of view. This record is very reminiscent of Shyne’s “Bad Boys”, Damien Marley’s “Welcome To Jamrock” and Collie Buddz’s “Come Around”. Get hip to it below.
