With tensions continuously rising between the government and it’s citizens, emcee D. Green felt the strong urge to address some of the current issues brewing with the country. Some of these issues include racism, injustice and prejudice. Green also contracts Los Angeles-based singer EE BeYond to add a strong splash of soul over the single. Together with director Emmanuel Fordjour, the trio put forth a powerful visual for “As Far As I See”.
The video begins with with some news excerpt featuring Trump and others speaking about controversial outlooks. We then see Green and BeYond behind the wheel as they journey thru a multicultural neighborhood where contrary to stereotypical beliefs, everyone is getting along just fine. The video concludes with the pair in an undisclosed location in the desert dig up a plot to bury the stereotypes and racism.
The full video can be seen below and serves as an appetizer to D. Green’s forthcoming “For The F.E.W. 2” EP, set to debut on April 7th.
