Only God knows what Lafayette vocalist Yung Juko actually endured on his long road battling Spina Bifida thus far. Besides speaking physically, Juko was also subjected to the judgmental monologue of living disabled along with the heartbreaking ridicule from unsympathetic people. However, instead of succumbing to these woes, he used it as fuel to embark on a musical career as an R&B artist and boy does he have great songwriting abilities and a voice to match.
“Pray For Me” is Yung’s latest musical endeavor and officially released visual. This comes on the heel of his other two full scale releases. The first was “Trust Nobody”, which has amassed over three million views on Youtube since May along with the follow up video for “Learn From The Streets” which now stands at 300K plays currently.
“Pray For Me” was shot on location in the perfect place for such a song, church. With an opening prayer, Juko offers up hope thru vocals to keep anyone that’s going thru hard times to hold strong, keep their heads up and stay with God thru the the thick & thin. “Pray For Me” can be viewed below.
