Portland, Oregon rappers SamuelThe1st and Brookfield Duece bring their recent collab effort “Inner City Blues” to the big screen courtesy of Totem Ent and Brayde Gough. The song focuses on doing anything within ones means to make a better life for their self. Constructed by producer friend Drew Locs, the song captures the sound of Marvin Gaye and puts focus on the fast rising PDX music scene. Brookfield Duece provides the ruggedness of what the inner city is all about and opens the track. It doesn’t hurt that he is related to NBA Trailblazer Damian Lillard either, who has been seen online dropping bars as well. Catch the blues below.
