UK producer/ emcee Mr Mini takes a nod from Slim Shady himself and puts a spin to the classic “My Name Is” with Hi I’m Mr Mini. Expecting to already garner comparisons to Mr. Mathers, Mini even addresses it around the 2:20 timestamp. With a beat that sounds straight out of Dr. Dre’s archive, Mr Mini does a splendid job of paying homage to Em all the while showing viewers another side to his artistry. The single will be featured on his upcoming “Street Smart Book Smart” EP as well.
Although at first glance one would assume this is his musical introduction but Mr Mini is no newcomer to the game. Having previously featured on DJ Cameo’s track, “Who’s Dat” and appearing on freestyles with Kano and Tinie Tempah at the age of just 14. He’s produced for some of the hottest names in Urban Music including Maxsta, Krept & Konan, Manga & Stylo G as well as producing and writing his entire mixtape, “Take It or Leave It”, which saw him selected as a BBC Introducing artist gaining support from DJ Semtex, Charlie Sloth and DJ Target.
