Thumb Tap Records is proud to present the lead off single to Chicago emcee Big Herc’s “HIP HOP” album set to release sometime in October. The song is called “Hello Darkness” and features some clever flips of Simon & Garfunkle’s “The Sound of Silence” provided by Sid Wilson aka DJ Starscream of Slipknot fame. In the video, the song lyrics are depicted thru imagery such as when Herc was waiting tables while grinding with his music. The song not only has dope production but offers a glimpse into the life of a starving artist, something all musicians will be able to relate to.
