GI is a 22 year old producer/emcee from Dublin, Ireland and recently released a video for one of the tracks, “Smack Haze”, from his collab project with fellow emcee Costello titled “Mary Jane”. The album name, although an obvious title for weed lovers, has a real meaning behind it as Costello late mothers name is Mary and GI’s mothers name is Jane. They make grimy but conscience hip hop with a Dublin essence. The video features Action Bronson from when he was in Dublin performing and features the duo flowing for Bronson, winning his approval.
