Tell us about you and your movement?

What’s popping this is your boy Beadz aka the “Face of Chicago” representing the South side
of Chicago. I represent Dowg Mobb Ent/Manatee Records and I have been on my grind putting
in work all throughout the country. I have been performing in major concerts with major artists
from Atlanta, Mississippi, Wisconsin, Florida etc. My fan base has been increasing growing off
the ground work & sound we’ve been delivering

When did you start to develop your artistry?

I began doing music in junior high but I actually grew as an artist during high school. In 2002 I
was chosen as one of the 8 finalist for Clear Channel’s WGCI Chicago’s Idol and that solidified
me as an artist.

Who are some of your musical influences?

Music wise I was very much so influenced by Tupac, Biggie, Snoop Dogg as well as host of
world renowned Chicago Legends such as Crucial Conflict, Do or Die, Twista & R. Kelly.
Moreover living today in these streets is an inspiration to me on a hold. My daily ups and downs
draw me to create the music of my life.

What current projects are you working on?

Right now it’s all about four singles we have lined up for this year. My song “Super Bad”has
taken off in the clubs and currently getting mix show spins throughout Chicago. The song
has gotten good reviews from the record pools and the clubs and we are on deck for regular
rotation. “Super Bad” is also on internet radio where we are receiving thousands of streams and
downloads. The “Super Bad’ song was also featured on many mixtapes including Dj Suss One
and Dj Blazita out of New York and The ATL Record Pool as well as Dj Shaun T Coast2Coast
Mixtape hosted by Tony Yayo and many others.. The other singles “Celebrate” and “Money 2
Long” and “Wild Out” featuring Wacka Flocka and Bo Deal received love on New Year Eve
when I performed them.

How are you planning to ‘Get Your Buzz Up’?
By increasing my fan base and by making as many appearances to urban events such as
iStandard and continue building relationships with disc jockeys across the globe as well as radio
personnel, magazine writers, promoters etc.
