The undisputed lyrical champion is back with one last release from the soundtrack to “Southpaw”, a boxing movie that Eminem was at first set to star in and later was called upon to executive produce the soundtrack for. Already having released the heated “Phenomenal”, which sparked debate of the re-submergence of his classic demeanor, we are treated to “Kings Never Die”. The mood of the song will spark memories of Em’s past record “Survival” due in part to the producer responsible for many of Shady’s latest hits, fusing Hard Rock & Hip Hop, DJ Khalil.
Another surprise treat is that having already collaborated with the likes of Pink, Sia & Riahanna, we get blessed by famed No Doubt lead singer/ solo artist Gwen Stefani who utilizes a strong chorus line to this behemoth release. With too many insane lines to list, GYBU is simply supplying the link to the entire lyric sheet to this one. The “Southpaw” soundtrack releases on July 24th featuring new music from Eminem, Bad Meets Evil, Slaughterhouse, 50 Cent and more.
